What's New in TripaDex Version 2.0...

\\- New Features in Version 2.0 -//

New additions to TripaDex are NEW! Printing ability and NEW! Enhanced forms for easier usability and NEW, NEW additions (see below)!! Now you can use the Mileage Chart for keeping track of every stop pertaining to a trip and print out a Trip Sheet with the information automatically included so you don't have to input information into the computer and then have to write it by hand on the Trip Sheet. The “Additional Information” Worksheet now has an added feature to let you print out one or all stops that you have completed for any trip.

The “Additional Information” worksheet, the “Trip Information” worksheet, the “Company Info” form and the “Customers” form has a new look that is sure to please. These forms are now cleaner, and the layout is more dynamic and streamlined. You can also print blank worksheet forms for taking with you for keeping track of information that you would like to input into TripaDex at a later time.

* New to TripaDex !! Tool number “5”... The TRIPADEX DIGITAL ASSISTANT (TDA). Keep track of Family and Friends with the digital assistant with Address and Contact Information, and the TDA is always where you need it, right at program start. Just click a button to open the TDA in the center of your screen.

* New to TripaDex !! Tool number “6”... Count Down Scheduler. Ever pulled into a “Point of Entry”, and realized your permits or a single permit has expired? Pulled over, only to find out that your trailer inspection was “Out of Date?”. No need to worry about that any longer with the Count Down Scheduler. What the Scheduler does is let you input a title of what is to expire, such as a permit, truck or trailer inspection, a date your next service is due etc. etc., and then you just select a date for the expiration and let TripaDex keep you informed of how many days are left before expiration. You can even get a countdown of how many days are left until your anniversary or a birthday. The Count Down Scheduler is a great addition to TripaDex.

* New to TripaDex !! Tool number “7”... Ask God In Prayer. This is a tool of Inspiration that will truly uplift and give guidance as you travel along your way, not only in the trucking industry but in your life as well. This inspirational tool is very simple to use. All you need to do, is type a question into the question field, and then click the “Ask for His guidance” button, and you will then be presented with a response from God, through scripture. I have tried this incredible tool on myself, once it was completed, and let me tell you that… “Powerful,” is the only word that I can use to describe how it affected me. I must say that now I have a new favorite tool, and that is to… Ask God In Prayer.

* New to TripaDex !! TripaDex has a NEW! form for logging an Accident Report... The “Accident” form will allow you to create an accident report and include up to 21 digital photos with your report that you can save as a .pdf file and e-mail to your Company or Insurance Agent. The “Accident” form also has a “How to properly shoot an accident scene” page that will instruct you on how to take pictures that will best represent the accident to your Company or Insurance Agent.

* New to TripaDex !! Now at the start of TripaDex, you have more “Statistical” data that will keep you informed at a glance on how you are doing financially. At a glance, you will know immediately if you are losing money or making it. At a glance, you will also know if you should go to the “StatisticS” form to get a more detailed look at where problems may be arising and where you need to cut costs. These New features are a color bar chart for expenses accumulated to-date and a color sliding scale that represents miles run that are not paid (Out-of-Route) miles to-date. Also at TripaDex start, there are new running totals for “Total Pay” to-date and “Total Miles” run to-date.

* Enhanced !! The “Axle Weight Calculator” has been retooled to be bigger and easier to understand. There is a Semi Truck graphic where you input axle weights on each axle. The “Fuel Weight” Calculation and Distribution scale is now bigger, making it easier to see and read.

* New to TripaDex !! If you have been to the TripaDex Virtual Tour, you may have noticed that after a while, the “Tool Tips” could become annoying after you have learned how to use TripaDex effectively. That problem is now no longer a problem, because once you have “mastered” TripaDex, which won’t take long, you now have the option of turning the “Tool Tips” off, and they will remain off permanently until you turn them on again.

* We NOW have the TripaDex 2.0 “Virtual” Tour updated with these New changes so you can see for yourself that TripaDex is becoming more and more user friendly and easy to use and understand.

* THE BEST PART IS... You will never again have to guess how you are doing financially as you will know each and every time that you start TripaDex at a glance. If you see numbers that make you uncomfortable, you can go to the “StatisticS” form to get a more detailed look at where changes need to be made to be more profitable.

* Within the Additional Information worksheet and Trip Information worksheet, you can click a button to log a stop without having to leave the form and come back. The Additional Information worksheet now remembers more repetitive information and adds it automatically for you with every stop that you add to a Trip so you don't have to keep typing in the same information over and over again. TripaDex is all about saving time, and time is money.

* I know I say this often, but it is important to remember that the more information you keep track of, the more information you will have available to you throughout and at the end of the year. I love my statistics as I am sure you do as well, so know that the more information that you keep, the more you will get back when it is needed the most... "When You Need To Know."

Before Creating TripaDex, I created and used a Spreadsheet and Trip Sheet for keeping this type of information readily available.
